After endless nights of pain and suffering, Shantelle was finally hospitalized on October 29th, 2005. The doctors found tumors in her spine, brain and shoulder. She eventually found out that she was in stage IV of one of the rarest and deadliest forms of Cancer. Doctors did not expect her to make it out of the hospital alive.
Today, she is at home walking despite back fractures, talking despite a double craniotomy and living her life as God wills. To her family and friends, she is a walking miracle.
